  • Group and Retreat rates are available and can include
    rooms, meals and all amenities. A written contract will be
    developed to fit the unique needs of each group or retreat.  

  • Additional nights stay in any rooms before or after  retreats
    or events can be scheduled for attendees, will be charged
    at regular room/casita rates and must be reserved in
    advance.

  • Amenities such as spa services, concierge services,
    transportation, phone and laundry services are available
    and can be included in the overall contract.

  • Physical Property - Serendipity is located on 10 acres of land and is ideally suited to both small and large groups,
    retreats, conferences, or special events.  With its numerous patios and  break-out areas, a full outdoor grill and fire pit area,
    and a combination of private and public spaces, the property has unlimited potential.  Each event is unique so areas will be
    used differently depending on the special experience you have in mind.  Full or partial use of the property is included when
    rooms are booked or the property is also available for a fee when rooms are not booked.

  • Catering Availability -  Full catering services are available and we
    will work with you to choose the best options from a variety of menu
    items and price ranges.  Mexican cuisine and seafoods are very
    popular, but we can provide you with a wide range of choices
    including vegetarian.
  • Some groups with highly specialized menus may choose to bring their
    own chef.  We welcome the opportunity to work with your personnel,
    but do require that the use of the kitchen and its equipment be
    supervised by us and that adequate support staff be provided either
    by you or through us.
  • The outdoor grill and kitchen area is open for guest use.  For some
    events, we can cook the outdoor grill menu or groups can choose to
    do their own grilling.  The open fire pit is also popular for gathering or
    outdoor cooking.  Whatever your needs, we are prepared to work
    with you to make your event perfect.
  • Group Sizes -  Serendipity has the
    intimate feel of a private home or villa,
    yet is spacious enough to accommodate
    large numbers of people when needed.  
  • If accommodations are needed, a total of
    25 people can be housed on the
    property and a number of neighboring
    casitas are also available to house up to
    20 additional people.  For very large
    groups, reservations can also be made
    at other B&Bs or hotels nearby or in
    town.  
  • Major events of 100 people or more can
    easily be hosted around the large central
    patio and pool area and the lower patio,
    grill and dance areas.

  • Group Rates - Depending on the size of
    the group, the number of rooms rented
    and/or the meals catered,  rates can
    vary.  Contracts will be negotiated and
    agreed upon prior to confirmation of
    dates or deposits being paid.  (See below
    for terms).

Spa Days
  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the dates.
  • An additional 30% deposit is required to be received 60 days
    prior to arrival.
  • The remaining 50% plus 14% tax and a  $400.00 US damage
    deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival.  
  • Cancellations occurring between 30 and 60 days prior to
    arrival will be refunded (1/2 the 2nd payment).
  • Cancellations that occur less than 30 days prior to arrival are
    not refundable with the exception of the damage deposit and
    taxes.  (In the event of uncontrollable special circumstances
    which cause cancellation by either party, refund terms will be
    negotiated.)
  • The deposit payment is transferable to secure another date
    upon receipt of written notice and the notice of change is
    received 30 days or more prior to the date of the scheduled
    retreat.  New dates will be secured based on availability.  
    Deposits will be transferred less an administration fee of $50
    US and must be applied to a retreat which occurs within one
    year from the time of transfer.
  • All cancellations or transfers must be received in writing.
  • Payments are to be made in US dollars and can be paid by
    check from a US Bank Account, credit card or wired to our
    Mexican dollar account.  
  • Receipts and/or facturas will be provided upon request.
